Sustainable Development and Safeguards Assessment
The project shall contribute to Sustainable Development Goals in more than two goals and be managed to avoid negative impacts.
Project shall be complied with the relevant local, nation and international laes and regulation. Project shall propose preventive or mitigation action to assure that there will be no negative environmental and social impacts caused by the project activity (Do-no-net harm).
Safeguards focus on evaluating and mitigating risks or negative environmental and social impacts that may arise from project implementation. Its aim is to prevent and prepare appropriate responses when negative impacts occur. The criteria are that the project must operate in accordance with local, national, and international laws and regulations. The project must have a detailed contents of the guidelines and measures to prevent and reduce any potential environmental impacts from the project activities. An overview of the prevention of negative impacts of the project consists of 3 main steps as shown in Figure.
